Vehicles in German City Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Police reported they were contacted by a resident who found a car in Hanau covered with reddish substance

Approximately fifty vehicles have been smeared with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a official communication.

Officers report they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday, when a resident observed that a car in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they reported.

Law enforcement then discovered many other smeared cars and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under regulations prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials say initial examinations show the substance was likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its origin; investigators are currently not informed of any injuries in connection with the event," they commented.

Local authorities said they were trying "to solve the mystery" and have requested to the community for information.

An important political figure said the attack left him speechless and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and reopens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on a platform, referring to the murder of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at residents of immigrant origin in February 2020.
